Each feather hair extension, is made from a collection of 7 feathers , ranging from 7" 14" in length ( There is Always several long feathers per bunch)
Hair can be washed whilst wearing your Feather-your-heads feather extensions also: brushed, blow-dried, straightened and even curled (on low heat). They will last anywhere from one to four months, depending on how you care for them.
You will receive 5 micro loop beads with your Feather-your-heads hair extension ,you will also need a threader and pliers, which are available in our Feather-your-head tool kit. 40 colour options fitting sheet included.

 OK I read another blog, a month or so ago from the USA, raving about the use of feathers in hair, attached as a hair extension and I was intrigued.
At Ahead of hair, we love the challenge of finding new and exciting ways to express your self through hair,
 So we jumped straight to it, researching, trialling (the only error was burnt hands, another story), and enjoyably sporting our feather hair extensions.
I'm red haired at the moment, and so I put together autumn fall, a collection of browns reds and cream feathers, and the result was amazing, I put one in my fringe area, and one at the side.
The thing with feathers is they become one with your hair almost straight away, owing to the fact  you can wash, curl, straighten and style them, I found  people were asking me, 'How did you get those colours in your hair like that', they didn't realise they were feathers!.
Fitting is easy (especially if your familiar with micro loop extensions )
At Ahead of hair we have developed Feather-your-heads™ , a collection of 12 colours (and growing) so you can go for subtle and natural  or dramatic creative colours, they can be used where ever you desire such as  sides or fringes, and can be trimmed to your hair style.
