How To Add Micro Ring Extensions
When you first look at the instructions, it may look a bit daunting. It seems like a lot of steps but once you've added a few of them it becomes a quick, simple process.
Many customers fit Micro loop themselves, although you may need help with the back of your head!.
Below is the step by step process plus a picture 'how to' of how to fit Micro Loop Hair Extensions.

Step 1: Gather a strand of natural hair.
Step 2: With your other hand, take a micro ring extension and place the loop over your thumb and forefinger.
Step 3: Pull the natural hair through the plastic loop using your thumb and index finger.
Step 4: Hold the micro ring with one hand and the plastic guiding loop with the other.
Step 5: Pull the plastic guiding loop so that the natural hair begins threading through the micro ring.
Step 6: Pull the natural hair completely through the ring and discard the plastic loop.
Step 7: Use pliers to squeeze the ring shut. Squeeze firmly but it isn't necessary to really crush the ring closed. That can damage the ring and also your hair.
Step 8: Repeat the previous steps by adding extensions in rows. How closely you place the extensions apart and how many rows you add will depend a bit on the person's head, hair type and the number of extensions you are adding.

Top Tips

Maintaining your hair extensions is key and one of the important things to get right is the washing process.

!.Wash hair in tepid water, not hot. Hot water helps break down the bonds to an extent, and also, hair shrinks in heat so avoid hot hot water, go for as cool you can stand.

!.Wash from the bottom up, yes that's right start at the ends of your hair and the extensions and gently shampoo up to the bonds stop short of the bonds by an inch or so, this way you can give hair and extensions a good gentle wash without worrying about bonds


!.Don't rub hard , gently stroke shampoo down the hair length and separate strands as you are doing this. for the last 2 minutes gently massage the scalp with shampoo and then rinse in tepid water.

repeat these steps for conditioner.

!.Give your hair extensions some moisture. 

Hair Extensions are no longer receiving oil and moisture from the scalp so they definitely need a regular dose of mineral rich moisture in the form of a good serum.

I apply a good amount to my damp hair after washing when hair is part way dry.

Micro loop are a  quicker and less expensive alternative to high end branded hair extensions which often out price the younger clients.

Sometimes however Micro loop are not suitable such as in cases where a client has oily or very fine hair, in this case the client would experience slippage of the bonds.
